MENACE HEAD #1

This is a "sculpt study" as we are working to get the look right in physical form. We are just as excited as everyone else who has the Animated Stunticons! Combination has never been an issue, it is capturing the "essence" that takes time.

Things will always work out!!

Well, as we have all seen, a couple of great Menace head sketches have been released into the wild.... Good thing for us we had our nets ready. Thanks guys!

 We are REALLY looking forward to this project and want to do our best to make it a great addition to all of our collection! Thanks for the TON of emails and we will be getting back to everyone ASAP!

Please be patient with us and know we are working our butts off for this.

WOW!!

Seems we have made a good bit of noise with just a few little sketches. We are glad to see the fan base is as enthusiastic as we are about getting this right. Hopefully, we can see this through to the end, have this on our shelves, and feel like we ALL had a part in making this happen... We were really happy to see a NEW sketch hit a certain Twitter page today!

 We have been reading the forums, and thanks again for all of those who have been giving feedback!! We are listening.

more head sketches

Like we have mentioned before...we do read the forums! We thank everyone who gave opinions about the head sketch, especially for those who understood it was a rough sketch(from months ago) and gave feedback.  We would have liked to been able to show more for the crew at TFCON(thanks again) but couldn't.

 Here are some more head sketches based from the original and others with a new direction. As we have said before, nailing the look is very important to all of us. Again, just sketches, but closer to our final look. Feel free to let us know what you guys think at G1UPPERS@GMAIL.COM

We know we know... it is not as much as we would liked to have given. Trust us, if we could we would have it for sell right now. This project is a huge undertaking, especially for designers that can only work on this part time.

 So far here is some info:
The set will be limited to at max 1,500 sets.
BBTS and Toyarena.com will be our US distributers.
We are looking to have a full prototype complete by October.

This is an EXTREMELY early W.I.P. for the head of "MENACE".  It is a quick digital mock-up as we are sculpting and building before we fine tune him in cad..There will be changes.

We see we have had A LOT of traffic the past few days. Thanks to TFW2005.COM and SEIBERTRON.COM for the front page spot.

So to answer a few questions.

G1UPPERS?

 We felt the name could be taken many ways. So if confuses you more than it should, don't think to hard.  G1=transformers related
UPPERS=upgrades

It's just a fun name.

Why have G1 in the name and then start out with "Animated" kits?

Simple, because we want to. We have many upgrades planned. All for characters that started in G1, but have lived LONG passed the time of our youth.

"When will we see pics"

 We are holding out any pics and updates for the guys at TFCON. This is the first year that anyone has decided to give 3rd party groups a panel and we would like to do or part to support that. Sorry folks.

 We want to thank everyone who has been supportive of our ideas. We do read your thoughts on the forums. It really helps encourage us to keep moving forward. We are rather stubborn and want to run  before we crawl. So a lot of time, money, and energy is being spent on creating "FIREMASTER" and we have a lot to loose or gain if we can knock this out of the park. But it will take time as we are a small group, and can not devote 30 hours a day to these.

What's up with the name?

Haha.. so curious about the name? Well, think about about.... take it as you will... and yes, we have many ideas, and plans, that will work with almost every line...  but mainly G1 and things that are reminiscent of what started it all!!

We are planning on having some pics for the guys over at TFCON.
